Early April.April Fool to the foolest, not a muslim way!

Early April posting. Some people anually practice April Fool on this day, but I'm not going in that term. I hate people (for the most muslims) who plays April Fool. O please, it's not our culture, and moreover not our religion practice. Truly, ask yourself, is it a satisfaction for you to see another people being troubled by your deed? It might be isn't a problem if one only make a small joke, but can be a big problem when you humiliate people and in some cases, put a burden onto others or worse, hurt people. Don't call me friend anymore if any of you do something like that to me!

Muslims, take this words:
From Aishah r.a said: "I never saw the Prophet s.a.w. laughed deep to his throat, truth his laughed was hissmile.

Daripada Aisyah r.a., katanya: "Saya sama sekali tidak pernah melihat Rasulullah s.a.w. dalam ketawa itu bersangatan sehingga terlihat anak tekaknya, hanyasanya ketawa beliau s.a.w. itu adalah tersenyum.

(Muttafaq Alaih)

Got it? Rasulullah never laughed on a big volume like all of us, people on this modernity time do. So when you tease someone with your April Fool joke, I bet for sure you will get a fully big laugh to see your victim become humiliated or got trouble or being hurt, but remember, Rasulullah never made that such jokes, and never laughed such the way you do and never laughed when people around him faced embarrasment incident, difficulty and pain. Do you think by victimised someone with your joke make you look cool? Oh no. It will never work out, unfortunately it will just publish your stupidity. Rasulullah is cool enough to be imitate, and He never play April fool to look cool.

Please my dear muslim friends, emancipate yourself from being mentally colonised by western fake coolness. We already have our islamisation coolness. Just obey it in which it deserves. Go recite Al Quran!

words of care > Hadith for the day

Ayam masak lemak cili api

Table for two. But sometime eat alone huhu... When I was with my family, the whole chicken would be only for a meal for the whole family. Now, when we live both together, just two person, whole chicken can be cut into 16 pieces and cook for four meal. Different dishes of course (trying hard to cook various dishes for every meal). So yesterday, we found cili api at a Thai mini market, and bought just like there would be no tomorrow. And also serai and kunyit. Then came the idea to cook ayam masak lemak cili api, rush to a Pakistani grocery and butcher, where chickens are sold too. It was at 6pm, all shop are merely to be close and continuing their business by the next morning, but temptation to eat ayam masak lemak cili api made we forced the Pakistani man to cut a chicken for us. Then the Pakistani man said, "For you my muslim sister and brother. You're both very lucky. We are almost close". Then I replied, "Owh, Alhamdullillah. Thanks God. Thanks man. You are not close yet. If it is so, then we need to wait for tomorrow to eat chicken". On our way home, the grocery paper bag that we brought to put the chicken (we brought our own grocery paper bag- save the earth, stop using plastic bag) suddenly was torn due to the wet chicken. Then, I finally turned home with a dirty tudung and jubah. Wet by the chicken's blood and the water, fortunately I was wearing black. Huu...My first destination when arrived home was bathroom. Only after then I got the chance to cook. And here it comes, ayam masak lemak cili api, London edition.

New day of believing and confident

In few hours time, I have to go for origami class, will be teach by Ikhwan Najita, a guy from Japan- a classmate of mine. He is a muslim, a new converter. The class is held for charity purpose. To collect fund for earthquake victims in Haiti and Fiji. Students who interested in learning how to make origami can register for the class, with the fee of GBP10, and all the collection will be for those in need. I was the first from my class to register for the two days origami course. And followed by another 34 students only from my class. The whole collection just for yesterday are GBP 1750, means 175 students are interested in this charity program. Only for the class that will be handle by Ikhwan Najita. Another charity team members from another class that involve in this project might have collected more.

This will be a new day of believing, I never used to learn origami before, because I think I can't do it. But look at the three birds above. In just 15 minutes of demonstration yesterday, I managed to work on these three birds under Ikhwan Najita and team supervise. That such a new believing. If you believe you can do it, only then you can do it. Believe and confident.

Puteri kesayangan Rasulullah

Sementara kelas origami berhenti rehat, mari membaca tazkirah.

Suatu hari Rasulullah SAW datang melawat anaknya Fatimah R.A dan didapatinya Fatimah sedang menangis. Maka bertanyalah Rasulullah SAW:

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim

(Riwayat Abu Hurairah)
