Tuesday's Malaysian newspaper reported a 70's man charged after stabbing his 73 years old wife till death, in front of their house at Alor Setar. On behalf of the early judgement, the 70's man is said to be too jealous and his wife asked for so many time to get divorce for not capable of enduring the husband's jealousy. But the man refuse to let his wife free. So after the merely quarelling, the husband suddenly brought out a knife from his pocket, stabbed the wife, witnessed by the wife's stepson. This depicted the lameness of family's awareness which not only happen in the marriage of young couples, but also in the marriage of the veteran one, even in the not very first marriage.
Should anyone feels lact of patience, bear in mind, that killing people, isn't the accurate way of solving problems, in this case marriage and divorce. In Al Quran, there are a lot of living education, teach us how to lead a life as a husband and wife. Being nice to each other.
Men are the protectors and maintainers of women, because Allah has given the one more (strength) than the other, and because they support them from their means. Therefore the righteous women are devoutly obedient, and guard in (the husband’s) absence what Allah would have them guard. As to those women on whose part ye fear disloyalty and ill-conduct, admonish them (first), (Next), refuse to share their beds, (And last) beat them (lightly); but if they return to obedience, seek not against them Means (of annoyance): For Allah is Most High, great (above you all).
An-nisaa'-34When finding of bereft in ideas to save a marriage, thus muhasabah and musyawarah are the best way of keeping life wellness. Allah provides the way,
for you to ask for the best decision, not by harming or hurting or even killing anybody, husband or wife. Do as what religion teaches us. Religion, Islam of course drives us into the best way of life.
Allah created man and woman as partner, as in the Al Quran,
Men and women are created complimentary to each other. So behave like a truly human. The guides have been given, it's up on us to manage the way how they can be practically avail in our life.
